What we collect and why
We collect your name, phone number, postcode, information about the roofing work you describe and your email address if you choose to provide it. You may also attach photos of the roofing concern. Photos are optional and are delivered with your enquiry to the business email inbox; they are not published on the website or sent to Google Analytics. We use the information to respond, assess the enquiry, arrange a visit, prepare a quote and keep appropriate records.
Lead and visitor measurement
To understand whether the website is generating enquiries, we record successful form submissions and clicks on displayed phone numbers or the email address. The reporting record contains the action, time, page, service category and any campaign or referring-site information available in the web address. It does not contain the customer's name, phone number, email address, postcode or message.
With a visitor's permission, Google Analytics uses optional cookies to measure visits, general location, device information, traffic sources and interactions. With analytics permission, we also keep the referring website and campaign labels in session storage so a visit can be linked to an enquiry after navigation between pages. Confirmed form enquiries and contact-link clicks are measured without sending form fields to Google Analytics. Phone clicks indicate an intention to call, not a completed call. Analytics is not loaded when optional analytics are rejected. A saved choice can be changed through the cookie-settings button.
Who receives it
Information is shared only where needed with website, analytics and email providers or people involved in assessing and completing the requested work. Enquiry details are not sold as marketing leads.
Retention and your rights
Enquiries are retained only as long as needed for follow-up, legal obligations and business records. You may ask to access, correct or delete your information by emailing jtoogood@mail.com. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
